George W. Bush on the cover of MAGIC
Am I crazy, or does that photo of Harry Willard on the cover of the July issue of MAGIC look like George W. Bush?

I'd say that George W. Bush looks like Harry Willard! In fact, they both look like General Custer!

Papa Bush liked his 'magic tricks'...Al Cohen has related how Papa used to phone him often seeking advice on his purchases.
Did boy George follow in Papas footsteps?

Here's a photo of the current President being levitated by Scott Wells when both were based in Midland, Texas:

I once did a performance attended by his father and looked forward to chatting him up about our mutual interest in magic, having read the reports of his visits to Al's Shop. It was immediately clear he was clueless about magic, so I switched topics. Rather disappointing.

Bush Sr., as I recall, bought mostly jokes, not tricks.

Jacques Le Sueur , professional corporate magician from Cape Town, South Africa, holds the distinction of picpocketing the worlds FAVOURITE AND MOST FAMOUS POLITICIAN, Nelson Mandela, during a performance. ( when he stole his watch) Join me in wishing Madiba a magical 90th birthday!

Problaby not much. Is that a problem?
Re: George W. Bush on the cover of MAGIC
That is, apart from the thread mentioning a prominent politician, GB, being levitated by Scott Wells.
As an analogy, I mentioned a former prominent politician, NM being picpocketed by Jacques Le Seuer....and wished him a happy birthday to boot.
But no, nothing to do with the cover of Magic. Peace.

Hmmm...George looks a bit 'proud' below the waistline in that photo. At least he enjoyed the experience.
