Trick-- "Masque"

Postby swamy » May 6th, 2008, 12:34 am

I saw a video performance of a trick titled "MASQUE" where a Joker chages its identity 3 times. the routine was nice. I could not get any information on this effect.

If any of you is aware of the routine please let me know the deails.

It's Max Maven's and I think it was marketed as a separate item. It might appear in his book "Focus."

Indeed: the trick was published in a 4 pages pamphlet in 1980, then re-published in Max's book "Focus". It's a very good trick and also quite easy to perform, well constructed and with an interesting plot. I had it in my repertoire for a number of years in the eighties...

Really the trick is good. But today both the trick and the book is not available. Unfortunate

Swamy - I believe the book "Focus" was reprinted and is available from Hermetic Press.

Buy the book "Focus", you will not regret it. Not only will you get Masque, but many more with the Maven touch.
