AWESOME!! EXTREME MAGIC!!!!!!!

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

The kid's ability to focus on magic despite his family issues is Vernonesque.

His double needs work.

This is a short produced by Bob Odenkirk......writer-producer-performer on SNL, and his own HBO show, Mr. Show with Bob and David.

Yeah I suppose some folks can laugh and pretend it's fiction. Now if the kid were younger and one of the parents also said "it's not your fault" we might have more talk about.

Thanks John. I miss Mr. Show with Bob and Dave.

It's not the side effects of the cocaine. I'm thinking that it must be love. It's too late...

Bob Odenkirk and David Cross are fantastic. I really miss that show. You see Bob pop up in all sorts of roles and it's always a treat as you know he's going to play whatever role just right.

I don't know how I feel that the "double lift" is now something so pervasive it is material to be included in satire.

Chris Kenner once told me that he avoids using a Double Lift whenever possible because he feels that laymen often see that you're holding two cards and just don't say anything.

Since it turns out to have been in the spirit of an April Fool's joke, the dl exposure now takes on a different pall. It was part of why I chose to assume the scene was real.

Who was the piece meant for, did it make a point, and was it worth the exposure?
