Hello everyone.
I have a small problem and was hoping someone here could provide an answer or two.
I am working on this effect with slates. I will be using photos of famous dead people and have to force one.
What I am looking for is a way top force that photo.
I have considered gluing them onto cards and forcing that way, and possible using roughing fluid, but was wondering if someone knew of any other ways to do this.
Thanks in advance.
Gord

I was thinking either 4x6 or 5x7.

The roughing fluid is probably the simplest. Altho I have used a slate for a force. You have a stack of cards, let them be shuffled, and ask spec to deal them into a pile and stop whenever. You then drop the slate onto the pile (flap has a back design and the force card is on top of the flap). you say the card stopped at will be predicted on the slate. You lift slate they look at card and you turn over the slate and the name is there.
Stay tooned.

Interesting. It didn't cross my mind to use the slate like this. I'm going to fiddle around with this idea. Thanks.

Re: Help with stage effect.
Some ideas:
Use double envelope principle so there is a force picture in each envelope.
Put photos and dups in a changebag or a clear force type bag.
You could also make a force pack without roughing fluid so every other card is the force card. It's easy enough to force a photo by asking them for a number and counting to that photo or the one next to it.
