Open to any magicians passing through the area, the local IBM ring (105) holds there meetings the first Thursday of every month, you can contact me or john@tudormagic.com. The SAM assembly of which i'm the current VP holds our meetings on the third Saturday of every month at Madhatter Magic located in irmo sc. Stop on by we've always have something going on.

John Tudors Magic Theater show/documentary, SC State Museum, Friday, January 13 thru Sunday Jan 15. Based on the SC ETV special, it features six of the finest magicians from S.C.

Close Up and Storytelling Magic, EdVenture Childrens Museum, Saturday, January 14. Featuring local favorite Sarah Straney, and the finest young magicians in our area.

International Magic Gala Show, Koger Center for the Arts, Saturday, January 14, 8 PM; starring world renown magicienne "Jade", illusionist Jason Michaels, British magicians Tony Griffith, and Gazzo; jugglers The Fettucini Brothers, sleight of hand magic in the lobby, and more to be announced. (to benefit Palmetto Health Childrens Hospital).

Magic Day at Edventure Children's Museum, Sunday, January 15, 1-5 PM, featuring magic shows by nationally known kidshow artist Julian Franklin and more, and workshops in basic magic and balloon sculpting (ages 6 and up).

John, what are the hours for the SC State Museum? I would like to catch the documentary of John Tudor's
Magic Theater.

The Magic Theater documentary you asked about (http://www.tudormagic.com/mag_thea_tv.htm) will be shown at the SCAM convention weekend at the following times:

Friday, Jan.13., (after the Cabaret show, 10 pm?) as part of the full convention schedule Columbia Downtown Marriott (http://www.marriottcolumbia.com/).

Also showing at the SC State Museum (http://www.museum.state.sc.us/main/generalinfo.html):
Friday, January 13, 7:30 pm, Saturday January 14 at 11 am and 1 pm, and Sunday Jan 15 at 1:30 pm.
($5.00 adults, $3.00 children/srs.)

And, public shows at EdVenture Children's Museum, (http://www.edventure.org/home.asp, which is on the same site as the State Museum):
Saturday, Jan. 14 Magic shows & storytelling featuring local & young magicans
Sunday, Jan 15. Shows by kidshow expert Julian Franklin

Both days featuring shows by, Sarah Straney, Matt McCoy, Brandon Wagster, Bob Watkins, and myself, with more to be announced. (we're planning on free admission for conventioneers).
