Barry's new shop open in Rockville MD (DC)

Barry's new shop- all 4000+ square feet of it!- is now open in Rockville, MD! For those of us in the Washington DC area, this shop is amazing. Barry's showroom is enormous, and chock full of STUFF! It's incredible how much there was packed away in the old shop, and how it expanded to fill the new one. There are books, tricks, lecture notes, manuscripts, stuff that hasn't seen the light of day in years, stuff that's out of print or out of production...
Barry, Susie, Joe, and Greg (and Frankie, the Wonder Dog!) have pulled off a Herculean task to bring an amazing resource to life in Rockville.
There's also a 40 seat theater for lectures, shows and meetings.
If you haven't seen the new shop yet, you are in for a treat. It's on Nicholson Lane, just off Rockville Pike, less than 5 minutes off the Capitol Beltway.
Congratulations, Barry and Suzie!

Yes, it is tremendous. As a beginner in magic, I always felt frustrated with the old shop where tons and tons and tons of magic was hidden away. Now it is all out there to see, to touch, and to buy.

John Carney is the first lecturer at the new Barry's. I hope all of us will show up to support the lecture series and Barry's generally. That is what will keep the last magic shop in D.C. alive and vibrant.
