FISM 2006

Postby Peo Olsson » February 3rd, 2006, 7:10 pm

As most of you are aware of FISM will be held in Sweden this year. First time ever in scandinavia, and its quite an honor for us here to be the ones to run it.
Assuming Richard will be there in his Genii both, but who else of you will?
Hope to see you there.

The registration fee is SEK 4975:00 at the moment, which is equaliant to about $640 I think, and the longer you wait the more exspenisive it gets.

I'm rellay looking foreward to see you guys there.

The main hall where the galas are being held holds 2,000 people (I think it's about that number). So, anyone who registers and is above that number will be in an adjoining room with video monitors.

All gala shows exept the final galas on saturday where the Grand Prix-vinners of the Stage and Close up-competition are presented will be doubled.
So even if you register late, you vill be able to see most of the shows live.
The final galas will be shown on big screens for those who registers late.

Can a spouse, not attending FISM buy tickets for individual night gala shows? If so, what is cost?

I must clearify what Bo just wrote:

The main theatre, the Victoria Hall, seats 2000 people.

We have decided to show the Nordic Opening Show and the Gala Show twice so that everybody can see the show live. Well have "open seats" for the competitions. Seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. You will also be able to view the competitions via a giant screen and television screens in the dealer hall.

The final show cannot be repeated, as it is the juried performance of the finalists for the world championship. Those people registering from now on will view the final show on a giant screen in the Dante Room, which seats 800 people in comfort.

I would also like to draw to your attention that we have a forum at our website www.fism.com where you can ask questions about the FISM 2006 convention

We have not decided yet since we FIRST like to attend to all our buyers of the congress card and see to it that they have the best service. After that we will take care of extra ticket sale.

Thanks John!

I am the moderator for the forum at www.fism.com.

Since I am an American, John Houdi asked me to join the group and help as the moderator for the forum at our webpage.

Our forum has a lot of information and you might find some of your questions answered there, as well. Bo had contacted me regarding some of the questions, but see that John answered them. We hope you understand our situation.

We hope to see all our delegates in Stockholm this summer. Please check our webpage and read through our forum there. I'll be happy to be of assistance to your questions there.

Regards,
