Paul,

That Non Faro shuffle looks awesome. You fooled me the first time I saw it, then immediately checked the manuscript I just bought from you (I wanted to see how you fooled me) and wanted to practice immediately but I'm "working" and don't have a deck with me, but as soon as I get home, I'll start. It looks easy, but I bet it's not that easy, it needs as you say, some practice and a bit of acting. Well I'll let you all know how I'm doing after some practice.

How is the "The Ultra-Natural Double Lift" any different than the standard push off lift?

It's the grip, the method of handling the gravity double in order to make it reliable, and the extremely fair, floaty "hands-off" quality of the turnover action. It's got nothing to do with the push-off or get-ready.

I'll take an opportunity to salute Paul for these double handlings. Not ones I'd use all the time, mind you, but for certain effects, the visual impression of these handlings is staggering. Kudos!

Hmm, I can't play the videos. RealPlayer on win98 is apparently telling me it doesn't understand the file format. Any ideas?

Robert,

Make sure you've downloaded the latest version of their free player from http://real.com

Sometimes machine haven't been updated in a while and the newer videos won't play on them without a complete upgrade.

But before installing RealOne Player, read THIS warning/guideline.

It's not exactly in line with their new installation regimen, but you'll get the idea. They're a tricky lot.

ps: Paul, all the moves look GREAT!

One piece of advice I give out; _always_ install with the Custom option. You learn sooo much more...

Take care, Ian
