The CardMaker Deck
(also and better known as Monte Cristo Deck)
The ad looks very interesting. I will probably buy one or two...

The CardMaker Deck - coming soon
Re: The CardMaker Deck - coming soon
Cards by Martin also has the Monte Cristo Deck available. You might want to check out that site if you are interested in this deck.

If the references in this thread are to the Henry Hardin original from 100 years ago, its proper title is "The Peerless Monte-Cristo Cards."

Is this the same deck Chris Kenworthy put out as "Mastermind" around 20 years ago?
Re: The CardMaker Deck - coming soon
If someone is trying to be professional by offering multi-language versions of a site, they really should stump up to pay someone who can speak the language to do the copy writing.
The verbiage in that ad is so so so bad...
Obviously on a forum, if English is not someone's first language, we are polite and understanding about it. But in advertising? I think it's inexcusable.
I am a marketing professional, so it really bugs me. But does anyone else really care?
When you see clearly babel-fish translations in advertising does it bother you?
After reading it, I have little idea as to what the deck is/does!

@ mrgoat
You are invited to help with a proper translation. :help:
@ gberard
It is in fact the same deck, with 1 difference: mine will be soon available and ready for immediate shipping. For all you US magicians; feel free to contact Neil M. Lester a.k.a. cardsbymartin. He will sell it cheaper, since he has NOT to import things like I have to. But ask him seriously when he will ship the cards in case of an order ;)

Thank you for the help.
I am glad, others know what the deck is good for.

Re: The CardMaker Deck - coming soon
That's a curious comment about checking when cardsbymartin will ship. I've used him many times in the past and always found his service to be superb.
Re: The CardMaker Deck - coming soon
Don't get me wrong please:
cardybymartin is still number one in experience and the crafts of making gaffed cards - no doubt about it! His service is top notch!
Fact is: I know, he does not have the Monte Cristo Deck on stock. He told me so.
Kjellstrom justed started the thread to let others know, that I will have this deck the next days on stock, ready for shipping.
And as said before, when you are US based, please visit cardsbymartin to get your cards. I sometimes send my customers to him and vice versa.
Now I hope that there is nothing more which could be misunderstood!

@Richard
Since I do not know Henry Hardin's old Monte-Cristo deck - I cannot answer your question.
I did not invent anything new, so it should be ok, that we both share information by direct email to info [at] magicbycardmaker.com - if you like.
