Gene Maze footage on Internet

Postby Guest » June 2nd, 2006, 12:41 pm

Here's a video clip of Gene Maze doing some stuff. The first 45 seconds or so are of someone else, with Gene commenting. Then it's all Gene.

His card switch and false cut are awesome!

Great tape! Shows Gene in his prime. Wonder who he was teaching? Was it you, Jimbo?

Fun to watch - thanks Jimbo! Some of Gene Maze's inspired work on the Ovette Master Move will be appearing in an upcoming Magicana.

It's Doc from the Cafe.

Take care, Ian

Richard, as Ian mentioned above, the other person in the video is a guy who goes by the name of Doc on the Magic Cafe. He's really into gambling moves. He also has another video of him and a three card monte hustler, which is also great and very insightful...

Some of the best footage of Doc is in the following video... deck and packet switches, bottom/middle deal, and more...

What happened to the first video? The screen says it was withdrawn.

It seems the member has deleted all but one video. As he's only been a member for one week, he may be showing them for a limited period (days!). In which case, I recommend anyone who hasn't seen it, to view the remaining one now as, in my opinion, it's the best of the lot:

It seems this latter video has now also been deleted... never mind, managed to watch it about twenty or so times!

Rene, a thousand thanks for the clip. I just love Gene's switch.

And to hear him say, "Just remove five cods." What memories!
