You would! You designed the website and have your photo posted there.

Doesn't that make you a bit biased?

hahaha, I know I like it, but constructive criticism is what I'm after.

I hope that people will give me honest opinions and help me grow.

If it sucks, tell me, if you have suggestions, tell me. I'm not looking for a pat on the back.

I like to support the magic community any way i can.

Well if you had said that in your first post, rather than try and shill the site, you probably would get better responses.

You have a mix of styles and fonts, which gives it a jumbled look (in my humble opinion). And the font for the magic tricks are almost unreadable. I would suggest that you select one style and one font, and eliminate the "Jackson Pollock" font.

Good luck!

Please take Rick's advice. Use AT MOST two typefaces, one for text and the other for titles.

There is a tendency in desktop publishing for tyros to use as many typefaces as possible on a single page. This is called "ransom note publishing," because it looks like words have been cut and pasted from various printed sources.

Your page has an appearance of that kind.

Yellow on black is easier to read than white on black.

I've not heard that phrase before. It's brilliant!

Thank you for your suggestions. My apologies if it looked like I was trying to "shill the site". It wasn't my intention.

I was just trying to leave a little note that didn't look like a blatant advertisement. Advertising on forums will getchya kicked off. I was kicked off of Magic Cafe for a post like this.

The expression, "ransom note publishing", is quite funny and a valid point. I'll be fixing it this week.

Thank you for the sound advice. It means a lot to me.

You are welcome. I first heard that phrase about 20 years ago from a friend of mine who ran a Desktop Publishing special interest group for the Houston Area League of PC users.

It really stuck with me.

the rule is no more than two different font styles. you can get away with three if the for instand
two fonts are serif or non-serif.

You learn a lot about designing ad for newspapers when you have little space or even how to make
classified ads stand out.

I've put in a substitute font for know, I've got a friend of mine, with talents in graphic design, working on a font... Couldn't find one I like.

it's gonna be uniform and anti-"ransome note publishing" haha.
