Eric Buss on Letterman Fri. night 10/12/07

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

I saw this. Was this supposed to be magical?

I thought it was entertaining but not magical.

Is there any video footage of this?

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Eric at Sorcerers Safari, a magic camp in Ontario, and would love to see the performance.

Congrats Eric!

The director screwed this up. The act would have looked a lot better if we could have seen it in long shots.

That's funny, because I thought there were times where it would have been better a litle closer.
To each his own.

The problem was that this was completetly out of context. Because of that, they decided to call him "commedian" Eric Buss. I had to explain this to my wife. In the context of a magic show, where the pace continues to increase, etc...this could have been a very "magical" finale...in the context of a comedy/talk show, it was neither comical nor magical. I felt bad for him, it's a GREAT bit!

Also of magical interest in the same video:

Ed Bordo, of Fitch Camp fame, is among those in the line waiting for Alan Greenspan...
