Here you will find a profile of top storyboard artist, writer, and voice artist at Pixar named Joe Ranft . On Joe's profile he lists his favorite magicians . In the interview he mentions that he was heavily into magic at one point in his life. I remember seeing some cartoons by Joe published in Genii in the late 1970's ( I'm guessing he was a teenager at the time). I wonder if he still subscribes to Genii ? Or if he's here on the Genii forum ?
(Hi, Joe, if you are reading this . You might remember me from years ago on Little Mermaid . I'm still with Disney, but at the Florida studio. We just had a great guest speaker down here a couple of weeks ago, a chap who claims he knows you : Jerome Ranft .)

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.
