I believe this really is magical

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

If you read the Magic at the Manor article in Magic Magazine, or the feature article in MUM, you have seen one of the people behind this program. Richard Garriot, magic collector and amateur magician, is part of the company which sent Hawking up. He was also on the flight.

While zero gravity in the vomit comet is awesome and seeing Dr Hawking enjoy the ride was also pleasing the phenomenon is not magical. That it is knowingly created in a way which all involved are acutely aware of in the process cancels what might otherwise be component a of wonder. Quite a method though if someone like DC wants to use it in a special with a set on the plane. ;)

I know exactly how it works, but I still believe the birth of a child is magical.

You got that right -- the two best, most magical moments of my life.

Still, the clip did make me smile.

One can consider all the willful actions which led to the arrival of a new sentient being an act of magic.

And yes I found that video of Hawking in zero g heartwarming.
