Softcover Cardmagic?

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

Softcover Cardmagic?

Postby Marco Pusterla » November 15th, 2004, 1:35 am

Hi, everybody!
I saw on eBay a copy of "Cardmagic" by our Genii-meister, "softcover".

I have a hardbound copy of the same book, and I was totally unaware of any softcover editions. Can anybody shed more light on this?

Thanks, ciao!

The first printing of CardMagic in 1979 consisted of 1800 copies in softcover, perfect bound, and 200 copies in hardcover (black cloth) with a dustjacket. I numbered each copy.
I allowed D.Robbins to do a reprint of CardMagic at one point, in hardcover, and the book has red cloth on the cover instead of black.
