Muscle Pass

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

Muscle Pass

Postby David Acer » May 26th, 2005, 2:24 pm

Can someone (anyone!) please refer me to a printed source (preferably the original one) for John Cornelius's "Muscle Pass?" I've checked everywhere - "Expert Card Technique," "Early Vernon," "Seriously Silly," EVERYWHERE!!!

AAAAAARRGH!!! It's 24 hours later and I still can't find the move anywhere! Does anyone have a copy of Cornelius's book? Is the Muscle Pass in there? Is the original source cited? And where's the remote to my TV?!?

Dave, listen to the Vietnamese woman. The Buckley book IS the original source. And it really isn't that hard to find. I don't know what your problem is. It's on my bookshelf, right where I left it.

David, go to http://www.coinvanish.com/

Click on Foundations; you will get a pop-up question to enter.....

Once in, click on Muscle Pass.

The entries include just about the whole Muscle Pass text from Buckley and other bibliography items, one of which predates Buckley....Bertram, I believe...

I thought Mike Gallo was Cambodian...and why wasn't he asked to contribute to the FFFF thingy? Now I don't feel so bad about never being invited to the FFFF.

Thanks folks. All is well now. And I would have been THRILLED to receive a contribution from Mike, but the whole Fechter's issue idea didn't really come about until the end of the convention when I realized enough people had approached me with material for the magazine. Next year I'll be more organized (assuming I'm invited back. And Obie, if you're reading this, I SWEAR I didn't know those were your shoes I pooed in).
