Online psychic trick!

Not sure if this excellent online trick has been posted here before. I came across it a number of months ago and was searching for it again earlier today and chanced across this alternate design:

I recall members on another forum working out the method, but it's still an intriguing effect.

Very nice...

One nice feature is that the prediction changes each time. I was still able to figure it out, but I'm a math/science-type person.

Nice illusion. Not the hardest method but because the symbol changes I think a lay person would find that unbelievable.
