This isn't really my cup of tea, but I have a friend getting into cold reading. I'm desperate for some gift ideas with the coming holidays.
I believe I saw a book reviewed recently that included "standard" cold reading replies (and questions) that are so generic they could mean just about anything. Could someone direct me to this booklet, please?
Also, there is another book out called "Something for Nothing" by Angelo Stagnaro. Any opinions on this book?
Thanks in advance.

Re: cold reading books
Get in touch with Douglas Cameron - he had Steve Hamilton's copy of Cold Reading by Lee Earle for sale. That's a good place to start.
Next you've got Ian Rowland's big book and Brad Henderson's The Dance.
Hope this helps,
Take care, Ian
(who is _not_ Ian Rowland, despite what people think...)

Re: cold reading books
Bob Cassidy sells an e-book, The Real Secret of Cold Reading. It's worth the money because it delivers.
Ian Rowland's book is encyclopedic, but if your friend is serious about cold reading, I'd stay away from any of the generic material.
I'd also consider giving him books on Rogerian Analysis. That's a great cold reading tool.
