I have one, barely used it, the range is not superb, its not possible to detect a coin through the back of the hand unless its a tiny hand or the search head aimed at the underside of the hand. I'm sure it could be used succesfully for other routines, however the biggest range is around two inches. Mine will be on eBay soon, in fact as I type someone has one on now.

I did purchase this item years ago and it seemed to be damaged. Although James Cheung (the creator) sent me a new unit up to this day I can't get it to work reliably.

I recommend using the Leyser2020 or Child's Play 2.
