Frank Garcia's book on Spongeball magic is tied up in litigation between his son and the woman he was married to when he died. All of his books are out of print and will continue to remain so until the legal dispute is settled. Unfortunately Frank died without leaving a will, which left things open to dispute.

While I realize that folks like Kaufman and Minch make a living publishing magic, it's a little surprising to find out that Garcia's literary output is so valuable to make it worthwhile to sue someone over it. I'd think lawyers and court costs would chew up any potential profits in reprinting real fast.
