There is an article in today's Calendar section of the Los Angeles Times where the director Tim Burton talks about his favorite L.A. haunts.

A little snippet:

...Burton, after all, went on a magic and ventriloquism kick as a kid.

"You ever been to the Magic Castle?" he asks. "I saw how angry they were - there's nothing worse than an angry magician. I realized I had anger issues, and that if I became a magician it would be really bad."

I'm not sure what to make of that...

NOT sure what you should MAKE OF IT? Do you WANNA MAKE SOMETHING OF IT? HUH? HUH? HUH!!!

DO YA!!!??? HUHHHHH!?

Did that sound angry enough? Just practicing!

LOL!!!

If you want to read angry magicians... check out some of the posts responding to the Derek Verner threads. Some of these guys sound angry to me.

Projection, displacement, sympathy and some self awareness. Impressive.

Perhaps he should have taken up mentalism?
