Help/ Tony Giorgio story

Postby Chaz Misenheimer » October 8th, 2002, 3:20 pm

I am hoping to track down a story that I suspect originated in the Giorgio Letters in Genii. The story involves a scam in which the mob arranged for marked decks of playing cards to be distributed through retail outlets in one city. The distribution was followed by on onslaught of visiting gamblers able to read the cards. Can anyone help me find this article or give me some direction in tracking down the correct source?
Thanks---Chaz

You will fine a version of the story in the Tome-Life book series on the old west in particular the book entitled The Gamblers.
