Dutch Magazine "Triks"

Postby Jim Maloney_dup1 » March 14th, 2007, 1:29 pm

Does anyone here have access to issues of the Dutch magazine "Triks" from late 1950/early 1951? I'm looking for some research assistance with an item that was published in the magazine around that time.

Thanks,
Jim

Gen used to publish much by Dutch magicians, maybe some from Triks?

Thanks, Anthony, but I'm not certain that it will help. The item I'm looking for, specifically, was a coin vanish by Nate Leipzig. According to The Magic Circular, January, 1951, a then-recent issue of Triks including a never before published coin vanish by Nate Leipzig. While The Gen might have re-published it, I'd still like to get a definite reference for when exactly it appeared in Triks.

Thanks,
Jim

My friend Ed Taytelbaum in Holland know almost anything about magic...
And he is still young, 82 years old...

Send him a e-mail and you will probably get an answer:

E-mail: e.taytelbaum@orange.nl

Hello Jim,

My friend Peter Vogel has acquired all the items that used to belong to Henk Vermeyden, the publisher of Triks. I believe he has all the copies of the magazine somewhere.

His email address is: vogel@dutchmagic.nl

Just tell him Herman sent you.

Good luck.
