Hamley's: "The Marvelous Magnetized Card"

Postby Jim Maloney_dup1 » June 17th, 2006, 7:45 pm

I'd like to know if anyone knows any details on "The Marvelous Magnetized Card" as advertised by Hamley's Grand Magical Saloons in the November 1907 Sphinx. An instruction sheet or description of the gaff would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

I'm also interested in a few other versions:

- Burling Hull's "Card Levitation", from 1909 (advertised in The Sphinx)
- The Great Douglas, "The New Magnetized Card Trick", from 1919 (advertised in Goldston's Magician)

If anyone has any info, or can direct me to someone who might, I would appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Jim

I've received some info on the Burling Hull variation. So...is there anyone out there who can help with the other two methods listed?

Thanks,
Jim
