Volumes 1 & 2 make repeated references to the fact that each is part of a trilogy. Volume 1 mentions that the following two volumes would be available in the next couple of years, yet there was only one more volume to follow. Does anyone know anything about the status of, or story behind volume 3?

I don't know. I did see a note years ago that Volume 3 was scheduled for publication but it never happened.

My guess is - that volumes 1 and 2 didnt sell too well. And then L&L found that DVDs were far better sellers. So that has taken their focus.

However - I have heard that work is being done on Volume 5 of the Vernon Chronicles after a long gap, so you probably shouldn't give up hope of seeing MINT Vol 3.

Granted that video provides a nice teaching tool, I missed the beautiful milestone books with the matching signed "Collector's Edition" that were the hallmark of L&L early in their history.
