Harry Stork

Postby Jim Maloney_dup1 » July 5th, 2005, 4:44 pm

Does anyone here know anything about Harry Stork? I'm particularly interested in how he is associated with the Side Steal. The only mention I've seen in this regard is in Greater Magic, where he is mentioned alongside Downs and Leipzig. I'm curious to know what his connection was.

Thanks,
Jim

One other thing -- I believe he ran a magic store in Detroit. Anyone know anything about this?

Jim:

I've got some SCANT info on Stork, the beginnings of research started as a teenager many many years ago. The best thing I have on him (besides some references provided through Milbourne Christopher) is a program, which someone long ago marked "rare" in pencil.

Please e-mail me and I'll do my best to give you what I have (clearly, what I have is best in your hands since I've obviously done nothing over the past 30 years!).

Jim,

I may have a catalog for Stork's business. I will take a look.
