Can anyone out there give information on Richie Artie (Whaley I don't got, alas). A friend was asking about him, but I know nothing about him. I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks!

You'll never get anywhere - with spelling his name like THAT! It's "Richiardi" (Sr. & Jr.).

Truly one of the most charismatic showmen in the magic business. To see Jr's Buzz Saw was an unforgetable experience!

You'll find plenty of info. on him on: Google; Youtube; Wikipedia.

duh, of course: Richiardi...

He heard Richie Artie and wrote me with that question, so I went with that (thinking all the while, "who the hell would go on stage with the name Richie Artie?").

Thanks!

When I was a kid, still living in New York and still illustrating magic books, someone called me Richie Artie once.

Sounds like Senor Mardo. He never called be by name, always Blondie. He even inscribed his books to me that way. :D He was always a nice guy.

Mardo was a great guy. Very generous. He was a spy, you know.

No, I didn't know. All I knew was from when he was at Tannen's.

Give us some dirt. :o

I thought Richie Artie was the guy that danced with Keen Jelly, and had his career derailed by his love of Jack Dangles.
