Is there a difference between De Land's Inverto
( Ref : The Conjurors' Magazine, Vol. 1, N8, sept 1945, but the trick deck came from circa 1915) and Cheek-to-Cheek by U.F. Grant which was marketed in 1948 ?

They are not the same trick.

"Inverto" does not use any selected cards, and the double-backed cards are positioned every other card at the start. Also, the deck is gimmicked like a Svengali Deck.

Grant ripped off "Cheek-to-Cheek" from someone else, I just saw a reference to this the other day (someplace--my mind is lost in Hofzinser at the moment).
