I am currently writing the third book in the School for Scoundrels series, The School for Scoundrels Notes on the Shell Game
As in our previous books on Three Card Monte and Fast and Loose, this book will focus on the methods of the street swindler, and the history, psychology, and practice of the game as a swindle, rather than on magical exhibitions of the game.
I am looking for any personal stories and anecdotes about playing the game, seeing the game played, or related stories. We are also looking for any photos, movies, or videos of the game in action on the street.
If you have anything to contribute that you think might be of interest, please contact me here or at whit@whithaydn.com or by mail at 3837 Toland Way, Los Angeles, CA 90065
Thanks.
