Fred Robinson book

Postby Remco » October 31st, 2001, 11:26 am

A few Years ago I read in Duffie's Card Compulsions (on page 13) about " a potentially forthcoming book about Fred Robinson, the man and his magic'. Now, six years later I am curious in what stage this project about the late English card expert is. Does anybody know something more about the (plans of the) book?

The book was written by Peter Duffie and was supposed to be illustrated by Chris Power of Opus fame, and published by Martin Breese. Breese sold the publishing rights to Chris Power and J.J. (Opus) about 10(!) years ago--I think. It's been forever. Haven't heard a peep about it lately.

Since last month, OPUS no longer have the Fred Robinson book. It's now being edited by David Britland (after some revision by myself)- David is also illustrating it. So it's moving at last.

Best Wishes

Peter
