Tenkai (1889-1972)

Postby John Pezzullo » July 9th, 2002, 3:08 am

Richard,

Max Maven published an article in the July 1994 issue of "Genii" that provided a thorough overview of conjuring in Japan and its development over the years.

As a supplement to his article, Max Maven provided an overview of resources relating to Japanese conjuring that have been published in English. Part of the overview read:

Richard Kaufman is working on a book of Tenkai material, much of it previously unpublished.
Is the Tenkai book still scheduled for publication sometime in the future?

Regards,

John

Yes, the Tenkai book has been coming together VERY slowly over the past TEN years. A very exciting project, but one that will take a very long time.
