Card Conspiracy Volume 2

Postby Harvey Rosenthal » August 2nd, 2003, 12:26 pm

I got a wonderful surprise this morning. I received Card Conspiracy Vol. 2 by Robin Robertson and Peter Duffie.

I have already spend many hours with the book and it really is terrific! The first volume is excellent and this one is no different. The magic is first class. Volume 2 has almost 50 more pages than Volume 1 and has quite a bit more material. Yet, the price is the same. Again, like the first volume, this one is also nicely put together. It is well written and the Joe Schmidt illustrations are admirable as usual. At the price, the book is a bargain.

The book can be ordered from Peter's web site in the UK. Those on this side of the Atlantic can get the book from Robin or your favorite dealer.

I concur with Harvey R.'s assessment.
These two volumes show the synergistic advantage of collaboration, when two impassioned minds bounce ideas off each other. Secondly, the chapters in these books revolve around seminal sleights, subtleties, or principles. These things are explained and then several applications are given.
More important, each chapter will get your mind percolating...big time...
I'm rereading them a third time, finding new nuggets along the way...

Onward...
