That's not true. The book is not being shipped out yet. I believe the books are finished and sitting at the printer, waiting for Invocation Vol.3 to be completed. Then all will be shipped over the warehouse next week in one truck load and THEN they'll be shipped out, hopefully by the end of next week.

Received my COINMAGIC on Monday, November 21. Wonderful collection of material by Roth, Latta, and others. Definitely the "next generation" of coin material, and the next logical step past Bobo's MODERN COIN MAGIC. Thank you, Richard, for reprinting this highly desirable book!

Now, 20+ years later, isn't it time to start on a new volume of the progress made since the '80's? :D

The reason it took almost 25 years between Modern Coin Magic and CoinMagic is because of the ungodly amount of work involved.
That's also why there has been no CoinMagic 2. There is no way to pay an artist for over 1,000 line drawings. And books don't sell nearly as well today, and it took over a year to write CoinMagic.
It's just not worth it.
Also, writing up coin tricks is a bitch!

Okay, maybe it's too much turkey and wine, and I'm stoopid, but I'll bite:

Richard: why is drawing coin magic illustrations harder than card ones?

(preparing to be slapped down harder than a tyro in a Max Maven lecture*)

(*this is an in-joke among four people at a Max Maven lecture in Baltimore)
