I was reading through my old copies of Richard's Almanac and in Volume 1 there was mention about starting to work on something called the "Illustrated Erdnase".
I assume this eventually became the "Annotated Erdnase", but without the illustrations. Is that correct? If so, whatever happened with the idea of creating illustrations rather then photos?

Re: Illustrated Erdnase?
It was Michael Ammar's idea for me to add hundreds of illustrations to Erdnase. Vernon hated the idea. I eventually sold the project (with annotations) to Bill Taylor. He sold it to Mike Caveney. I never did any illustrations for it.
