I will be in Los Angeles during August 4-11, and I would like to visit the Magic Castle. Can anyone help me get a Guest Pass?

Much Appreciated,

If you are a member of the IBM, SAM, or Magic Circle, you can just call and make reservations. You'll need to present your membership card for that organization at the door.

This is probably a silly question but I assume only members have access to the library, and not (magician) visitors?

That is a correct assumption.

A little off-topic (although I think the question in the original post has been answered), but does anyone know who has the largest magic library? I bet that is a sight to see.

Byron Walker has the largest private collection of magic books I've ever seen. It is a collection beyond comprehension. Tens of thousands of magic books.

While it may look like a house from the outside, Byron lives in a three-bedroom book depository. It is an amazing experience to visit.

I thought David Copperfield had the largest collection? Or was that effects?

The question pertains to books, not apparatus, letters, or any other type of magical prop or piece of ephemera. Copperfield has a very large library in his museum, but it's generally acknowledged that Byron Walker has the largest magic library.
