red sea passover on stage (cards across)

I want to adapt the red sea passover trick (Simon Aronso's cards across) to stage presentation. Some ideas for a clever handling?

Someone does the cards across on stage?
Have they a good reaction in the audiencie?
Wich are the best versions?

I have always been partial to "Zen's Cards Across" myself, especially with some of the Tom Ogden bits of business.
