I'm looking for an affordable yet effective milk can escape. No preference on either The classic or modern look. Any info on websites or companies would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Cannon Escapes, is a good place to start. Owens sells them too.
HOWEVER, I say this because too many have hurt/killed themselves doing "escapes" without practice or pro-active personnel, under real performance conditions. A well known lock/escape consultant told me, he could not count the times the first time a performer actually got locked into a water-filled can/box/cell, was also the first time they were performing to a real audience! Most who buy their first ball & vase try it a least once before showing it to someone.

Diego is right - be careful! Randi has permanent back injuries after compressing some discs while trying to push the top off that damn can... --Asrah

Thanks for the very kind and very wise words.

Please know that I'm just looking at the moment - gathering information - checking out options, prices, makers and styles.

Rest assured that should I do decide to take the plunge (pun intended) I will give it the time and respect an illusion of it's caliber deserves.

Trust me there are two things I truly love - Lance Burton's Dove Act and my own life.

Again...Thanks

For more: Read W.B. Gibson's "Master Magicians", and he shows how Houdini imitators drowned never thinking a little dent in the side of the can, would do them in. Having an assistant(s) who are looking out for you, because they are out of job if you die, helped Houdini.
