How many Aussie magicians out there would be in favour a new small magazine???

I have been speaking to a few contacts in Sydney and elsewhare in our great land and I'm all ready to rock and roll in getting the thing started.

Even though there seems to be a limited number of active members from under here I would appreciate a response.

Just curious...Does anyone know how many magic shops there are in Australia?...How many in the entire world?

Wittus Witt probably, as he publishes the Magic "yellow pages" -- someone here may know how to get a copy.
Stay tooned.

The next Yellow Pages are expected to be avaliable at FISM 2003.

Officially... at the moment we have 4 'shops' worthy of recognition. These being:

- Taylor's Magic Shop (Sydney)
- Bernard's Magic Shop (Melbourne)
- Abracadabra Magic Studio (Melbourne)
- Adelaide Magic Factory (Adelaide)

There are maybe three or four other mail order dealers around, but none carry extensive ranges. I'm also told there are to be at least two new shops opening soon... but I won't hold my breath on that one.

Sean, you can stop holding your breath.
The Magic Store opened in Southgate(Melbourne)
last week and a new Melbourne operation opens later
this month.

To add to your "official & worthy " list
you should add Hey Presto in downtown Sydney.

The only dealer I go to in Oz is Sean Taylor. I have had to many bad experiences with dodgy operators to bother shopping around.

I would be keen to see an OZ magazine.
