Who markets or has published versions of this rope trick that goes something like this: You have a white rope with a section of the rope toward one end colored red. You tie a knot in the red section, slide the knot down and untie it, and now the red section has move to the other end of the rope. I'm probably remembering this effect better than it actually is, but I can't remember if it's Pavel or others who do it.
Thanks, cats!!!

Sounds like "Jumping Knot of Pakistan" which is, if I remember correctly, a Daryl thing.

Well a lot of people do it but it is indeed a Pavel creation.

That's not quite Pavel's "Fantastic Knot," but it's similar. Daryl is the one who's popularized the trick in the US, and he includes his handling with it.
As the finale of the routine, a white knot jumps from a white rope to a red rope, and then you untie the knot and show that the white section of rope has actually become part of the red rope.
However, I would start the search with Pavel...he's got so many good visual rope tricks, it's probably one of those.
Aldo Columbini has a similar trick, look into his stuff too.

Aldo Columbini's trick is called "Knotty Knot." I think that's what your looking for.
