Anniversary Two-Step

Postby Spellbinder » August 23rd, 2015, 8:19 pm

Jim Gerrish recently published a new version of the Anniversary Waltz (by Doc Eason) which eliminates the deck of cards and whittles it down to just three cards - The King of Hearts, The Queen of Hearts, and The Jack of Hearts (who plays the role of the "parson"). This made it possible to enlarge the three cards to Ultra Jumbo Size (8.5" x 11" or so), so it can now easily be performed on stage, or in front of the wedding reception, etc. At the start, all three of the cards are shown front and back, and are perceived to be front and back all the way to the final moment when it is discovered that two of the cards have fused into one. Because you print the cards yourself on your computer printer, you can have the cards signed and give them away afterwards if you wish. It's found in The Wizards' Journal #29, for those who are interested.
