It's an old illusion, as "old as the Sphinx" as the saying goes. If you search some older magic books you'll find it. Jim Steinmeyer's boot Art & Artifice has a comprehensive discussion of the illusion that is the basis for what is shown in the clip you linked to.

Do I understand that you are intending to perform this for yourself ?

As to where you could buy it , you could probably have any reputable illusion builder make it for you.

The principle is named The cabinet of Proteus, created by Thomas W. Tobbin in 1864.

Ignoring the trolling aspect of the post, it seems strange that the woman seems to shrink by a good foot and a half while she is floating...

Take care, Ian

Well, Philippe, I was going to make him work a little harder to find it ... :/
wasn't my hint "as old as the Sphinx" good enough ?

Yes, wonderful old box. Probably feasible to get things out of the way at some point so the assistant can do a pole dance too.

For some more background - check out the Genii issue with the remembrance of Tommy Wonder and the DVD with the recreation of "Palingenesia" for an article - September 2006.

If we considere that Tobbin sold in 1865 his idea to Col. Stodare who becomes famous with his blockbuster names The Sphinx Illusion, your reference is very good enough, indeed.
