Memdeck + Marked

Postby John Hopkins » August 30th, 2004, 3:41 pm

I have been able to find quite a bit of material on memorized deck stacks. I would like
to combine a memdeck stack with a marked deck (reader). I know this is not a new idea.
Do some of you Experts out there in Genii-land know of places in the literature where this idea is explored? Thanks.

You should check out Kirk Charles' Marked for Life, a great little book on marked decks with a section on marked, memorized decks.

Boris Wild has also published some info on his own marking system as well as combining the two ...

Ed Marlo had a marking system written up in "The Pallbearer's Review" that was specific for a memorized deck. As best as I can recall, the cards were marked to indicate stack number, as opposed to value and suit.

You may want to check "The S.U.M. Deck" that's marketed by Martin Lewis:
