Daryl's Sound Exchange?

Postby Adam Brooks » May 24th, 2004, 6:34 pm

Daryl has an effect in which he switches the sounds of a rattle and something else which I don't recall... where is this written up?

I recall this as a marketed effect. And a cute one at that.

I don't believe that Daryl ever marketed this effect, but I recall seeing it in his lecture about 15 years ago. The two items were a baby rattle and a squeeze toy ... after showing that the rattle rattled and the squeeze toy squeaked ... the sounds transposed and now the squeeze toy rattled and the rattle squeaked ... not sure who but someone just perfromed this at the recent FFFF ...

It's written up in Daryl's "Something for Everyone" lecture notes.

Daryl did market this. I have it around here, somewhere.
