Dear magical friends.
I'm new here from Cologne in germany and I have my first question to all of you.
(I hope in the correct board)
Who knows the german inventor "Magiro" (Erich Weißl) ?
1. Howard Schwarzman, an American Magic dealer bought a couple of tricks from "Magiro" and they have a business relationship,
thats what I know - but I'm looking for more and detailed information - can someone help me?
2. I need also help to get pictures from "Magiros" invented tricks. Any photo is highly appreciated.
Why this questions?
I want to write a book about "Magiro" and I need help from round the world to present his tricks in a professional way.
So, please, let me know if you can help.
Thanks in advance.
Georg

Yes, thank you. I know this site. But here you only can read something about "Magiro" and "Werry" from the middle of 1970.
There is much more to know...

Howie Schwarzman is suffering from dementia, I believe, so he won't be able to give you any information. You might try writing to Joe Long.

There's already a book in German on Magiro's inventions / tricks he developed... I'll look it up as soon as I'm back home....

Believe me.

This is such a strange thread. Eckhard Böttcher and Zauber Butike already wrote about Matthias "Magiro" Weibl. These are the people that exclusively sold the bulk of his material in Germany. His family and closest colleague were consulted for both books. They are both well written with a ton of research, especially considering how prolific Magiro was despite making only small batches of each effect. I have no idea why you think those books are not professional.
