Mystic Coin trick

Postby Jonathan Townsend » March 21st, 2017, 8:22 pm

Are the old cap and gaff with three regular palming coins items still easily available?
The item came in a plain cardboard box with black printing. The props were a black cap, maybe said mystic coins on it, and three silver coins. They are are shown. the coins are piled on top of your hand and one vanishes - or penetrates your hand.
Thinking that might be a fun item to get a shell coin made... ;)

I believe that it was made in Germany many years ago (most likely the 60's and maybe into the early 70's) and, if I remember correctly, had a chrome cap and the same coins that SS Adams used.

You may find one up for auction from time to time but it's not a commonly found item.

Hope that helps.
