hi i-m searching the version of a card trick done with a card signed and break in pieces and put in a bag or hat and apear in a glass is from jean hugar namemed "your card sir?" but is a version apear in jubile book of sphinx and in card manipulation vol 5. The version original is used with a hat and pieces take from top of each packet of a cuarter or card, but i have read versions in spanish who usess a counting method, puting the 3 card sandwich and the select one in center, then break in 4 parts and get 12 pieces, and the pieces , 2, 5,8.11 are folded to control by touch.
Any idea where is published this version in einghlis.

Lt. Col. David S. Anderson's version in The Linking Ring, Vol. 34, no 3, may 1954, seems to match what you are looking for.
