Card Wallet question

Postby Jonathan Townsend » September 12th, 2016, 3:27 pm

Hi Folks,

This one's a long overdue question - so...

Where can I buy some non-gaffed versions of the mini-himber wallet? Same size, same look but just regular construction. IE just that design of wallet.

There are some great tricks around like the Nemo 1500 that use regular wallets - and others that use gaffed wallets - and if I'm going to carry any I may as well carry a half dozen and roll with the principle of being prepared.

Places to look or people to ask?

JonT

PS - note to our Tony Miller ... yeah you might as well go with a baker's dozen if your pocket is big enough... ;)

Any clues? I'm looking to be consistent - frugal with the audience's attention as regards background props.

I have a question. Where do you get a mini Himber wallet?

A range of wallets available online with about US$20.00 for low-but-kinda-usable quality. Others will likely know of much better To play with a wallet I knew was going to get battered and misused - I went with LeatherCraft.

Typical misuse: put item to load on the open wallet, close. open the other way - insert the props you want them to see. Later open so they see the props, remove the props and start your procedure. When it comes time to set something aside open the wallet the other way and ... well you now have that hidden item ready to add ;)
