Michael,
Hang on to those purses. They may be the only way we can get Mike Gallo to come to the COINvention. (You will still have some in September, won't you?)

Re: Cigars from purse
Oh man, all sorts of wisely withheld wisecracks are reeling through my head now.... Where to begin...?
Re: Cigars from purse
Who makes/sells the little purse that has a dupe that is a solid little black rock that looks just like the purse?
I would like to get some of 'em. :help:

Curtis, I don't know if I'll have enough - Latta and Gallo want them all! OK, OK, I'll bring back some more!

I would also like to be added to the list of those interested in the purses. These are very difficult to find and the one reason I have not attempted to play with the routine. I have seen Eric DeCamps do it numerous times and it is a masterpiece in his hands. A friend of mine ordered the cigars from Rogers, but the purses were not leather nor were they the kind that are used by DeCamps nor described by Carney in "Secrets". Quite dissapointing!!

Re: Cigars from purse
Anyone know who uses those purses today? and what they put in them? My grand mother had one that was a bit larger so I'm still working on getting the social context of the object.
2) has anyone else wondered if a 'prada' style approach would update the routine?

Re: Cigars from purse
Hi everyone, and thanks for your interest. The cigar purses are almost gone, so if you are still interested, or if you didn't receive my E-mail with pics and prices, please let me know ASAP at rubinsteindvm@aol.com. I still have a good supply of the Italian leather goshman style purses, which I'll be bringing with me to the COINVENTION in Sept. - Regards, Mike
