So I on the fly created (as far as I know) my own handling for a two card transpo. The sleights are rough and I am running on very little sleep (this is the excuse I'm running with for the poor handling). So needless to say I don't plan on showing laymen anytime soon. But I'd like to get your thoughts on it.

If it's original, the end is great. But you need to get there without all that handling at the beginning.

Thank very much. I have asked a couple friends who say they haven't seen that color change be used in that manner. Do you have any books or literature than you can point me to so that I can possibly do so. I am not new to card magic (though way more practiced with coins),so I can use more advanced card sleights if necessary.

For credits, you might want to have a look at http://www.conjuringarchive.com/show.ph ... ad+mullica
Also, Rafael Benatar has a handling that is more similar to what you are doing, but I'm not sure if it's in print. You could ask him.

Perhaps a jog shuffle to centralize, one riffle force for both cards at once, Elias Multiple shift to apparently lose (pause after the insertion) and cut to the top, finish as per your procedure, only you won't need the centralizing cut before the finish as the EMS does that for you.

Hello Jardani,
Brent Braun has a fantastic transposition that you may want to look into - he teaches it in several places, but here's a taster...

I like the face up tabled card moment and the basic replacement strategy. What appeals is using that stratagem to find out how long we can really have before the audience will notices the change. Thanks.
A long time ago - just a year or so after I showed our gracious host two versions of the card transpo he did not like so much - Ken Krenzel suggested a "do as I do" ploy that made "Now!" a workable item. You got me thinking about the effect again.

Tannen's after school - maybe 1975 or 1976.
Both had card shown then placed in the case to start. The first one was the Doug Henning story - the second one used an extra. You smiled and said "that's not the..." on that one
