What can the Broadway play ANNIE teach us about being better magicians?

I am lost as to where to find the answer to the Coin Trick That Fooled Einstein. I saw the trick on u-tube, but I wonder what would happen if someone had more change than the $2.85 that the magician has for the trick? Do you need to tell them you need a certain amount of change only?
